The IUBH Part-time Studies: Study while you work

The IUBH Part-time Studies opens up new opportunities for those who wish to continue their education in addition to their profession and who are looking for flexibility as well as personal instruction and support.

Since late 2018, the IUBH International University of Applied Sciences has been offering online, dual and English full-time study formats as well as part-time studies. What makes this study model special is the balanced mix of flexibility and professional supervision: ‘Flexibility and structure – for many, this combination is the basic recipe for a successful course through their studies,’ explains IUBH Prorector Prof Dr Patrick Geus. ‘We are delighted to be able to meet both of these requirements with our part-time offer.’

The most flexible and bespoke study format in Germany

The IUBH Part-time Studies attach particular importance to innovative forms of teaching such as the right mix of interactive classroom sessions on campus and individual preparation phases. This way, the theory can be applied directly in practice – meaningfully structured and in direct dialogue with professors and fellow students. The top-most goal is to support employed students in achieving their professional and personal goals by offering them custom-tailored solutions. Esther Jonberg, Head of Operations at IUBH Part-time Studies, knows: ‘IUBH’s part-time study programme is the most flexible and bespoke study format currently available at a university of applied sciences in Germany. The combination of classroom courses and online study elements perfectly speaks to our students as digitalisation progresses.’

Start at any time and write exams online

If you want to study at the IUBH part-time, you do not have to choose between a summer or a winter semester, but you can start right away: The part-time study programmes have no enrolment deadlines and no fixed starting dates. The students are also flexible when it comes to taking exams: You can take the exams traditionally on site at the nearest campus or flexibly as an online exam – anywhere, anytime, immediately and with live exam supervision.

Study what and where?

Whether a numbers genius, a keen observer of human nature, lateral thinker or creative mind: As a state-approved and accredited private university of applied sciences, the IUBH offers a wide range of part-time bachelor programmes in Berlin, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Hannover, Mannheim, Munich, Nuremberg and Vienna.
